HOUSE AT THE CLIFFS

A Cape Cod Ghost Story Novella

Romance! Spooks! And bawdy humor!

At least five people have died mysteriously in what townspeople insist is a haunted house. New tragedy looms. Real estate man George Smith is lured to the house after strange dreams about Ginny, an old high school flame, spookily start coming true. Photographer Sam Evans falls in love with the house and with Ginny. The couple cheerfully put up with the ghosts, including the one with the peg-leg. But Ginny's vengeance-seeking neo-Nazi ex-brother-in-law threatens not only their happiness but their very existence. A bewildered small-town police force, urged on by a phone caller no one can see and a man named Jones from Indiana, races against time to save them.

READER COMMENTS:

"It was a delight, especially the various Agatha Christie twists which were deliciously surprising because so unexpected." - Anne Schiff, Boca Raton, Fla.

"The reader can sense the cobwebs, the weird noises, and the chairs that rock without anyone in them. . .Although the format is completely different from any mystery or ghost story I've ever read, it's a delight . . .It has such appeal, not just the story itself but the easy to read type AND the easy on the pocketbook price." - Barbara Bernard, Holyoke, Mass.

"The switch to the letter format in Book Two was a neat change in style. . .We liked how all the loose ends got tied together." - H.J. Connors, Monroeville, Pa.

"I enjoyed the three formats. What I liked best was the down to earth talk. No flowery adjectives like some books have. . . I hated to put it down." - Jacqui Ruest, Ludlow, Mass.

"As a news type, I especially loved the inclusion of obit and police reports. I hope that you write another soon.“ - Suzanne Strempek Shea, Thorndike, Mass.

"I had no idea how it was going to end, and I thought the ending was just right." - Jane Hines, Nashville, Tenn.

"You wove everything together so cleverly." - Marilyn Erickson, Springfield, Mass.

"I must tell you how impressed I am at your genius at storytelling." - Lucille Gibbs, Holyoke, Mass.

"The plot has more curves than Ginny." - Bob Bessen, Mims, Fla.
